<image:caption>Marlon Pelayo born in the vibrant San Fernando Valley, first learned movement with his big sis Ivette—where wonder was born through wobbling footsteps and wild imagination. Whether the weather was wetter or the winds were wild, he kept moving forward. From Hollywood High School to EDGE Performing Arts Center, Moro Landis, and Media Dance Arts Center, he walked a winding road in a world where dancing “wasn’t really for boys.” But with every workshop, every wall he broke through, and every whisper telling him otherwise—he won. Awarded the EDGE Scholarship and welcomed into Hysterica Dance Company, Marlon wandered into worlds larger than he ever imagined. From dancing in Mary Poppins Returns to performing with Nicki Minaj at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, lip sync battle with Emily Blunt, and wiggling with Cher on Oprah, each moment widened his understanding of movement, wonder, and what it means to truly connect. Wandering through the world—from the Bahamas to London, across Europe, Asia, Australia, and South America—he witnessed history, warmth, wisdom, and the way movement speaks beyond words. Through aerial dance, guided by wise mentors, he discovered another way to fly: weightless, wild, and woven with strength and grace. Today, Marlon moves like wind over water—sharing invisible energy with whoever is willing to witness it. Whether through waves of laughter, wonder, or stillness, his work reminds people that dance is more than movement. It is freedom and worldliness. It is waking up to the wonder within.</image:caption>

<image:caption>Miguel Pérez was born in San Jose CA. Raised Catholic, he learned to appreciate ritual and ritualized storytelling. At the age of 11 he performed the role of Ebenezer Scrooge in a 6th grade production of A Christmas Carol. The experience of rehearsing and performing was so natural and so joyful that he decided, at that young age, to pursue the profession of acting. He began to perform in local productions in San Jose and eventually became the youngest member of an improvisational acting troupe called The McGuffey Company that toured the SF Bay Area in the mid 1970’s. In 1975 Miguel joined the United States Marine Corps. Honorably discharged in 1979 Miguel moved to New York City to begin his professional acting career. He auditioned for and was accepted to the National Shakespeare Conservatory, where he studied under master teachers Philip Meister, Mario Siletti and James Tripp. His graduation from the National Shakespeare Conservatory was followed by stints with many regional theaters including the Asolo State Theatre, South Florida Shakespeare Company, American Repertory Theatre, Berkeley Repertory, Hartford Stage and others. In New York he appeared with the Classic Stage Company, The New York Shakespeare Festival and in an array of productions off and on Broadway. On film Miguel has appeared in dozens of films including BLOW, UNBROKEN:Path To Redemption, OCEANS 11, THE ASECENT and MILLION DOLLAR BABY. His television credits include guest starring roles on SEINFELD”, “MADAM SECRETARY”, “ER”, “SHOOTER”, “DESIGNATED SURVIVOR”, “FEAR THE WALKING DEAD”, “SEAL TEAM”, “THE RESIDENT” and many, many others. As a teacher, in addition to his duties at Art of Acting studio, Miguel has coached privately for 20+ years. In the 1990’s he developed the acting curriculum at the Peterborough Players in New Hampshire. Before the pandemic he was on the faculty of the SAG Conservatory. Currently he is on the faculty of the Art of Acting Studio in Hollywood and he coaches and teaches privately at his studio in Downtown Los Angeles. He lives in Downtown LA with his wife, artist Kaye Freeman, and continues to work in Theatre, Film and Television. <image:caption>Oscar Falcon is a 26 year old multidisciplinary artist born and raised in California. His work spans acting, writing, directing, photography, and collage and at the heart of it all is storytelling that bridges the deeply personal with the mythic, the tactile with the poetic. Oscar earned my BFA from California Institute of the Arts (CalArts), where he was immersed in experimental performance and collaborative creation. His writing often moves through themes of loss, triumph, nature, group dynamics, mythology, and religion. As a Latino artist, He draws deep inspiration from the Mexican culture he grew up around, especially its layered, reverent relationship to death. Visual storytelling is also central to his practice; photography and collage allow him to reimagine memory, texture, and time in ways that feel both sacred and strange. <image:caption>VERONIKA KRAUSAS (Composer, Music Director, Co-Creator Sprung) Composer Veronika Krausas was born in Australia of Lithuanian heritage, raised in Canada, and currently lives in Los Angeles. She has directed, composed for, and produced multi-media events that incorporate her works with dance, acrobatics and video. The Globe & Mail (Toronto) writes “her works, whose organic, lyrical sense of storytelling are supported by a rigid formal elegance, give her audiences a sense that nature’s frozen objects are springing to life.” The Calgary Herald called Ghost Opera (her third opera) “Calgary’s premier arts event of the year.” Opera Canada cited it as one of the best operas of the decade. Ghost Opera is a dramma giocoso with life-sized puppets created by The Old Trout Puppet Company with Calgary Opera and the Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity in 2019. She was one of six composers involved in Yuval Sharon’s acclaimed mobile opera Hopscotch.
